What's Up With Those Signs? Dear Ghent Neighbors, We've gotten a few questions about our opponents’ signs around Ghent referring to Chatham zoning. What do they mean? Our opponents are trying to bring another Town’s controversy and turmoil to Ghent where they don’t belong. This deceptive tactic clearly aims to sow discord and bitterness within our community when what we need most right now is to bring neighbors together. The fact is, in Ghent, the only zoning changes under consideration have been approved unanimously by officials from both parties, been developed through years of open, bipartisan public discussion, and have nothing in common with any controversy in the Town of Chatham. While our opponents are offering voters scare tactics and lies, we are offering a proven track record and a positive vision for the future of Ghent. We're committed to: - broadband for all - state grants to improve Town infrastructure - positive community spirit - supporting farms - preserving Ghent's rural character - economic development - fiscal responsibility - open and transparent government! If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at patti.koethi@gmail.com. We're listening! Best wishes, Patti & Koethi ... See MoreSee Less

Antonio Delgado
Checking in before the weekend. This week I've been focused on addressing the opioid crisis. This issue requires thoughtful consideration & coordination between enforcement measures & aiding those in chronic pain. These are important conversations & we won't shy away from addressing this critical issue in our communities.
